This book highlights the most common disabilities that students may encounter in their classrooms. This is a fun way to introduce children to the what types of disabilities exist. Children learn about the variety of disabilities that can exist using the alphabet A-Z!
On each page, children are given a child-friendly definition of the disability. The illustrations help children to process the definition and/or make connections with their peers who may have a particular disability. They learn how each child is unique in their own way.
By exposing children to these terms early on, children can ask questions and develop empathy for their peers with special needs. They can also help educate others.
